Denmark’s wolves not as big and bad as their reputation

A pair of wolves that have established themselves in western Jutland have been accused of being behind 65 attacks on domestic animals. However, new research shows that only 15 of the attacks can be laid at the door of the wolves, Dr. Nyheder reports. In the other 50 cases in which wolves were suspected, the culprit turned out to be either foxes or dogs, while in several cases the animals died of natural causes, the environment protection agency concluded.
